Information for GPs
Shine Bright Clinic provides consultant-led, in-person child and adolescent ADHD, autism spectrum disorder and cognitive assessments in Churchtown, Dublin 14, led by Dr Laura Bond, Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist (IMC 409036).

No referral needed
Families book directly online: no formal referral is needed. If you’d like to write a letter, the family is welcome to send it to us with their forms.
What we assess
ADHD (ages 4–18), autism (2–18), dual ADHD and autism (4–18), and a full assessment including cognitive testing (6–16). We’re not a crisis service: where screening suggests wider mental health needs, we don’t proceed, and we write to you recommending Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS). The current wait is about two weeks.
What you receive
- A copy of the full assessment report with a clear diagnostic opinion.
- Where ADHD medication is started: the prescribing plan, and a letter after each dose change and each three-monthly review.
- Medication is started, adjusted and reviewed by the clinic, with reviews run by our specialist nurse and Dr Bond. Follow-up is not passed back to you unless you would prefer shared care. Some families may ask you to check blood pressure, heart rate and weight between reviews, if you’re willing.
